Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, providing support to students with their learning and development.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.
  • Support the teacher in preparing and delivering lessons, including setting up resources and materials.
  • Work with students on a one-to-one basis, providing additional support and guidance as needed.
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring that students have access to the resources they need.
Requirements:
  • 6 months experience working in a secondary school setting.
  • Full-time position, working 8:30am - 3:30pm.
  • Competitive rate of pay, £90-£105 per day depending on experience.
