Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary school in Glastonbury. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students, working closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, providing individualized support to students as needed
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized learning environment, ensuring all resources are available and accessible
  • Support students with pastoral care, helping to promote their social, emotional, and academic well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring a cohesive and engaging learning experience
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning process
Requirements:
  • 6 months experience working in a Secondary school
  • Full Time
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students to achieve academic and personal goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
