Health and Safety Manager

We're seeking a dynamic Health & Safety professional to lead and shape the Health & Safety function for a forward-thinking manufacturing company within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Health & Safety across diverse settings, including office environments, construction sites, and production floors.
- Collaborate with Site Managers to maintain a safe and compliant environment, with around 20% of your time spent on-site.
- Ensure compliance and best practices in Health & Safety for the group, overseeing the entire spectrum from office staff to production teams.
- Perform audits, risk assessments, and offer hands-on advice to site teams as needed.
- Shape and influence Health & Safety culture across the organization, ensuring high standards are met and exceeded.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor staff on Health & Safety protocols, fostering a collaborative and proactive safety culture.
- Strong experience in Health & Safety, ideally in construction or manufacturing (broader backgrounds are highly valued).
- Knowledge of office-based Health & Safety, in addition to site and production environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence teams at all levels.
- Enthusiasm for visiting sites and getting hands-on where necessary.
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent, with a commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
