We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Analyst to join our pioneering life-science start-up in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will play a strategic role in leading our data analysis efforts and driving business growth through data-driven insights.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of 3 data analysts in developing and implementing data analysis strategies
  • Collaborate with the science and software teams to design and develop novel detection algorithms
  • Analyze complex biology workflows for numeric and 2D image data, handling large datasets up to TBytes in size
  • Develop and evaluate data forms, including cell brightfield and fluorescence signal detection
Requirements
  • Strong background in mathematics and computer science, with a degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Experience leading a small team and developing complex algorithms in Python (or other languages)
  • Excellent understanding of large-scale numeric data and 2D image analysis using heuristics or machine learning, AI methods
