Manufacturing Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team at MARS Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and implementing new factory machinery and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple continuous improvement and machinery projects simultaneously, with project values ranging from £100k to £1m.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure production and quality targets are met.
  • Develop and implement engineering designs using CAD software.
  • Work with manufacturing automation systems and CNC machine tools.
  • Proven track record of people management, coaching, and supporting team members.
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or Degree).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production engineering role.
  • Experience working with high-volume manufacturing areas and complex products.
  • Proven experience with Quality Management Systems ISO.
  • Programming skills for CNC machine tools, PLC systems, or Industrial Robots.
