About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team at Reed. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Control and manage customer accounts, ensuring collections are made promptly and efficiently.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers to facilitate efficient collections and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Financial Analysis: Work towards reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSOs) and minimising bad debts by analysing financial data and implementing effective strategies.
  • Communication: Manage incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring all customer queries are logged and resolved efficiently, and maintain accurate records of all interactions.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks such as supplying statements, copying invoices, applying credit terms to accounts, and assisting with legal recovery.
  • Reporting: Produce account reconciliations, aged debt reports, and weekly banking reports to ensure accurate financial information.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in Credit Control or a related field.
  • Skills: Proven experience in process efficiency, effective communication, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with MS applications and MS Dynamics operating system is an advantage.
