Job Title: Night Support Worker

About the Role:

Orbis Education and Care is seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Night Support Worker at Bangeston Hall in Pembroke Dock. As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met, and promoting their independence through a range of activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing bespoke care to residents, including keeping accurate records.
  • Ensuring residents' physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Being a positive role model and promoting residents' independence through activities.
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and personal care.
  • Building strong relationships with residents and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges.
  • A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
