Job Title: Senior Principal Designer

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Principal Designer to join our dynamic team at Brandon James in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Principal Designer to take the next step in their career, working on a variety of exciting projects across different sectors.

The Role:

As a Senior Principal Designer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with CDM regulations across a range of projects, from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to provide expert advice on health and safety matters, ensuring design risk management is integrated into every stage of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Principal Designer services under CDM 2015 regulations
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Provide expert advice on health and safety matters
  • Work closely with clients, architects, and contractors
  • Ensure design risk management is integrated into every stage of the project
Requirements:
  • Strong background in construction or design
  • Significant experience in delivering Principal Designer services
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in an architectural or consultancy environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • APS membership or working towards IOSH accreditation
