We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Functional Specialists to join our team. As a Functional Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP). You will work closely with claimants to understand their needs and provide personalized, inclusive, and empathetic support.

What You'll Do:
  • Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR)
  • Manage caseloads from end to end, ensuring a high level of job variety and autonomy
  • Assess a wide range of health conditions and disabilities, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless case management and high-quality outcomes
What We Offer:
  • A competitive basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500, plus a 5% retention bonus (rising to 10% quality and retention bonus)
  • Hybrid full-time and part-time working hours available
  • 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), and 17 weeks (3 days per week) training options
  • 25 days' holiday per annum, rising to 27 days with service
