Job Summary

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Duty Coordinator to provide critical support to the clinical and administrative teams. The successful candidate will play a vital role in triaging referrals, making clinical decisions, and ensuring seamless access to mental health services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support staff with queries regarding triage, treatment, and access to secondary care.
  • Triage referrals entering the service via the IAPT self-referral portal or from other professionals.
  • Work as a referral coordinator within IAPT, being the first point of contact for patients presenting with mental health problems.
  • Manage triage referrals and make clinical decisions about appropriate services.
