Senior Consultant - Financial Modelling

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our team at Operis Group plc. in London. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in financial modelling who are looking to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain complex financial models, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  2. Lead the day-to-day modelling of model development assignments, working closely with clients and internal teams.
  3. Support the financial advisory team in their transaction work, including model development, funding competitions, and client liaison.
  4. Project manage smaller projects, providing guidance and coaching to junior staff.
  5. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, with opportunities to join our modelling sales team and create pitches to win new business.

Requirements:

  1. 2-4 years' experience building and working with cashflow models.
  2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas verbally and in writing.
  3. Confident client-facing skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
  4. Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail.
  5. Experience in project finance and infrastructure modelling, as well as model audit processes.
  6. Familiarity with programming languages, particularly VBA or C#.
  7. Business-level non-English language skills, particularly French or Spanish.
