Position Overview:

A Microsoft Power Platforms Specialist is sought to become a vital member of the Business Applications division within a leading financial services firm. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing, tailoring, and sustaining the Power Platforms environment to enhance operational efficiency. You will engage with various stakeholders to ascertain their requirements, adjust and personalize the system accordingly, and guarantee the precision and reliability of data.

Key Responsibilities:

System Customization and Configuration:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to capture their requirements.
  • Adjust and personalize the Power Platforms environment to fulfill these requirements.

Data Oversight:

  • Ensure the precision and reliability of data.
  • Oversee data import and export processes.

User Administration:

  • Manage user profiles and security permissions.
  • Deliver training and support to end-users for effective utilization of the Power Platforms environment.

System Upkeep:

  • Monitor and sustain the Power Platforms environment.
  • Implement updates and patches as required.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work alongside cross-functional teams.
  • Effectively communicate project progress and challenges to stakeholders.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Platforms, including:
    - Power Automate/Power Apps
    - Dynamics 365 (preferably within the financial services sector)
  • Demonstrated experience as a Power Platforms Developer.
  • Skilled in integrating solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Expertise in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365.
  • Strong grasp of data management principles within Power Platforms.
  • Experience in data integration and migration processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A process-driven individual with robust management skills, adaptable to a fast-paced, complex technical environment.
  • Detail-oriented yet pragmatic, capable of balancing competing demands.
  • Commercial insight and awareness of market trends, leveraging technology as a competitive advantage.
