At Lookers South Shields Ford, we're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicle sales process.

This is an exciting opportunity for an administrative professional to develop their skills and experience in a fast-paced environment. You'll have the chance to work closely with our sales team, providing exceptional support and ensuring that our customers receive an outstanding experience.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in an administrative role, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. You'll be self-motivated and eager to learn, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.

As a Sales Support Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with relevant departments to add newly purchased vehicles to our stock records
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock records
  • Ensuring all necessary vehicle documents are recorded and filed securely
  • Taxing sold vehicles prior to customer delivery
  • Creating sales invoices promptly and accurately
  • Verifying vehicle sales documents and ensuring payment before releasing the vehicle to the customer
