Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Nursery Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to young children, supporting their learning and development in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a rich and varied curriculum that meets the individual needs and interests of each child.
  • Provide high-quality education in a safe, fun, and stimulating environment.
  • Be responsible for carrying out observations to identify gaps in children's development.
  • Prioritize the well-being and development of all children.
  • Provide daily care to key children, encouraging independence.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, keeping detailed records and sharing updates with parents and carers.
  • Promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through structured and unstructured play.
  • Maintain a high standard of health and safety, conducting regular risk assessments.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early years education.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supporting staff, other professionals, and parents.
  • Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Relevant experience working with children in a childcare setting.
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent early years practitioner teaching qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS Check.
