We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young students.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Nursery Teacher and other colleagues to provide a high-quality learning environment.
- Lead Key Worker group sessions and make observations to inform children's learning and development.
- Encourage children to take risks and challenge themselves, while providing support and guidance when needed.
- Set up engaging activities in the continuous provision, promoting children's social, emotional, and mental health development.
- Use your initiative to interact with children, fostering a nurturing and calm approach.
- Provide daily support and care to children, encouraging them to become independent and confident learners.
- Promote high standards in the learning environment, ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Early Years Educator
- A minimum of two years experience working with Nursery aged children
- An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
- Excellent understanding of Safeguarding and how to promote it in a Nursery setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS Framework
- Competitive pay rate of £13.50 per hour
- Full-time and part-time positions available, Monday to Friday
