As a Windows Server Engineer, you will play a crucial role in a compact team dedicated to maintaining the company's technical framework. Your responsibilities will encompass the configuration and administration of Windows Server, Windows Server IIS, Active Directory, and Hyper-V.
You will work closely with the Head of Technical Operations and software development teams to deploy code, monitor system performance, assist with security compliance, enhance disaster recovery strategies, document environments (including network schematics, procedures, and scripts), troubleshoot performance challenges, and resolve client-related issues.
Work Arrangement:
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work from home part of the week. Initially, you will collaborate with your team in the office three days a week, with the possibility of reducing this to one day a week after the probationary period.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a Windows Systems Administrator, with a solid understanding of Windows Server and ideally Windows IIS.
- Strong background in backup, recovery, and security protocols.
- Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting operating system challenges.
- Good grasp of networking principles, particularly using the TCP stack for issue resolution.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting, with a focus on automation.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
