About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist/Nurse to join our team in North East Community Respiratory Service. As a key member of our integrated team, you will play a vital role in delivering pulmonary rehabilitation, COPD optimisation, and respiratory physiotherapy to patients in their own homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality pulmonary rehabilitation classes in a range of community venues, adapting to the needs of patients with chronic respiratory conditions.
  • Conduct home visits to assess and review patients, using your problem-solving and motivational skills to overcome barriers to pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest British Thoracic Society guidelines for pulmonary rehabilitation, applying your knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
