Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Protea Care Children. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing environment for our young people, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and supporting their development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for our young people, meeting their physical and emotional needs.
  • Engage in recreational activities and educational programs to promote the children's development and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on each child's unique needs, working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year's relevant professional experience working with young people in a residential setting.
  • A Level 4 Diploma in Children & Young People Practitioner (or equivalent) or be close to completing it.
  • A full clean manual driving licence held for at least 1 year.
