Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our friendly and dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our young learners, ensuring they have the best possible start to their education. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, tailored to the needs of Year 1 students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and wellbeing.
  • Use innovative teaching strategies and resources to support differentiated learning, ensuring all children reach their full potential.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's ongoing improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1 (KS1), preferably in Year 1.
  • A proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a love for learning and promoting a growth mindset among students.
  • Passionate about education with a commitment to continuous professional development.
