About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pre-Contract Manager to provide commercial support to our Head of Pre-Contracts and oversee the negotiation and delivery of key contracts that are crucial to CityFibre's strategic fibre build plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate construction contracts with our supply chain to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate closely with our Legal team to draft and finalise key contracts.
  • Lead and contribute to major tenders.
  • Develop and define contractor strategies and oversee their implementation in designated regions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in our approach and related processes, including workflow tools and reporting.
Requirements
  • Degree level or substantial experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in contracting including NEC3 contracts, from preparation through to negotiation and administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Commercially astute and aware with significant experience within a commercial role, ideally with experience in telecoms / FTTP / FTTH infrastructure.
  • Breadth of experience in supplier engagement; able to build relationships and influence outcomes.
