Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join our Cardio-Respiratory Unit at the Royal Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the running of all present services provided by the cardio-respiratory unit, including non-invasive and invasive tests such as ECG, Ambulatory Monitoring, Tilt Table Testing, Exercise Tolerance Testing, Echocardiography, and Cardiac Catheterisation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the clinical management of patients undergoing cardiac investigations
  • Perform and report simple and complex permanent pacemaker follow-ups
  • Analyse, interpret, and report complex clinical data
  • Liaise and advise with medical staff as required
Requirements
  • Substantial post-qualification experience in cardiology
  • Experience in training staff in all grades
  • Wide range of cardiology knowledge, including ECGs and ambulatory ECG analysis
  • ILS trained
  • RCCP/AHCS registration or equivalent
  • BHRS accreditation
