About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at 1a Upper Brighton Road, Surbiton. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise and oversee the smooth running of a shift, ensuring the wellbeing of all service users.
  • Respond to challenges and concerns, supervising support staff and administering medication as needed.
  • Organise activities and communicate with families and professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Oversee daily reports, budgets, and complete financial audits to maintain accurate records.
  • Complete Health and Safety checks to ensure a safe environment for all.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Senior Support Worker or extensive care experience from a learning disability and autism residential setting.
  • Leadership skills and experience, with a strong empathy and caring nature.
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviours and maintain a positive and professional approach.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a hard-working attitude, with a commitment to honesty and integrity.
