Support Worker - Waking Night

£13.41 per hour

Part-Time (22 hours per week)

Dimensions is seeking a caring Support Worker to provide overnight support to three individuals with learning disabilities in Weymouth. The successful candidate will ensure the individuals' safety and comfort while carrying out allocated tasks and adhering to risk assessments and support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular 'keeping safe checks' to ensure the individuals are safe and comfortable.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Keep accurate records using IT systems, including support plans, incident logs, and health and safety records.
  • Create a calm and therapeutic environment for the individuals.
  • Support individuals to make the most of their late evenings/nighttime.
  • Provide personal care when required.

The individuals we support have learning disabilities, and staff will be required to complete personal care tasks. You will receive training in communication methods, such as picture communication symbols or Makaton sign language.
