A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to work in a leading nursing home based in the Weymouth, Dorset area. You will be working for one of the UK's top healthcare providers.

This nursing home specializes in general and dementia nursing, residential, and respite care for the elderly. The home is currently rated as 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

As a Senior Support Worker, your key duties include:

  • Recognizing and facilitating the daily needs of residents
  • Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals
  • Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
  • Participating in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
  • Being responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
  • Administering medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • Proven experience of working in a care setting
  • A good team player
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A genuine desire to care for others

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of \u00a312.75 per hour and an annual salary of \u00a232,868.
