About the Role

Arup is a global firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants, and technical specialists offering a wide range of professional services. We work with infrastructure developers, property companies, governments, and landowners to embed effective management of land, air, and water through planning, delivery, and operation of new and retrofit projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver impact assessments for projects at all levels, including major national infrastructure and urban development projects.
  • Work closely with technical disciplines to deliver high-quality environmental consultancy services.
  • Co-ordinate environmental impact assessment projects, including day-to-day management of the assessment and technical teams.
  • Write environmental reports, including EIA screening letters, EIA scoping reports, and non-technical sections of Environmental Statements.
  • Promote project management activities, including programming and budget control.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level, preferably a master's degree.
  • Good appreciation of environmental legislation and knowledge of application of relevant legislation, policy, and guidance in respect to impact assessment for a range of project types.
  • Working within a commercial environment, including programme and time management, quality assurance, and financial/budget control.
