About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated physiotherapist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-focused care through assessment, diagnosis, and development of individual treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner to provide high-quality patient-focused care through assessment, diagnosis, and development of individual treatment programs.
  • Take responsibility for own caseload within a defined area of service or for a particular patient type.
  • Provide supervision, support, and education to qualified and unqualified staff and students.
  • Participate in departmental audit in support of evidence-based practice.
  • Communicate with the multidisciplinary team as appropriate to provide comprehensive assessment to determine admission prevention as appropriate to given specialty.
  • Undertake outpatient activity as appropriate within area of specialty.
  • Contribute to our 7-day service on a rota basis dependant on specialty of work.
  • Complete on-call over a 24-hour period/complete weekend working as appropriate to specialty.
