About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and driven RMN Deputy Ward Manager to join our dynamic team in a leading mental health care setting. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will provide essential nursing leadership, supporting the Ward Manager in overseeing the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership on the ward, supporting the nursing team to deliver excellent clinical care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including close coordination with the site Consultant Psychiatrist, to deliver a comprehensive approach to patient rehabilitation.
  • Manage and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and ensure high standards of care.
  • Contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement projects on the ward, enhancing patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Active Registration with the NMC
  • Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop Continued professional development and leadership
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience in Mental Health services
  • At least 3 years, or equivalent experience post-registration
