About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning of solar PV and battery storage projects within the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire commissioning period, managing resources, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commissioning of solar PV and battery storage projects, ensuring all activities align with project goals and industry standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement commissioning processes and plans, including testing protocols specific to UK projects.
  • Oversee the entire commissioning period, managing resources, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project, site, and quality managers to ensure commissioning activities meet safety, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Ensure detailed commissioning records are maintained for smooth project handover.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Inexcess and GPM softwares (SCADA).
  • Proven experience in commissioning solar PV and/or battery storage projects.
  • Strong understanding of grid connection and testing requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with OEMs and project stakeholders.
  • Be able to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and work on site as required.
