Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Patient Access Clinic Coordinator. This is a 12-month fixed-term position, providing maternity cover for our Patient Access Team.
About the Role
The Patient Access Team provides a Monday to Friday 8.00 to 17.00 patient booking service. As a Clinic Coordinator, you will be responsible for booking, cancelling, and altering patient appointments using our Trust's Patient Administration System. You will ensure that this is done in accordance with our Patient Access Policy and local Referral to Treatment (RTT) guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Book, cancel, and alter patient appointments using the Trust's Patient Administration System
- Ensure accurate data recording regarding outpatient appointments using trust patient access systems
- Monitor and book the Trust's elective waiting lists in accordance with local and national guidelines
- Provide a high level of patient care and reflect the Trust's Values
