About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality / Metrology Engineer to join our team at Coker Engineering Ltd. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for CMM programming (Hexagon Optiv Performance 443 - PC-DMIS) and other metrology equipment, as well as assisting with QC methodology development during new product introduction. Your primary objective will be to ensure the control & correct implementation of QC equipment throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality assessments and implement quality control processes
  • Authority over the gauge management system
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve the performance of the business relative to key quality metrics
  • Assist with QC methodology development during new product introduction
  • Ensure the control & correct implementation of QC equipment throughout the facility

Requirements

  • Experience in a Quality Engineering, Quality Control, or Quality Assurance role
  • Familiarity with Precision Engineering & CNC Machining methods
  • At ease with 2D technical drawings & the related international standards, including detailed geometric tolerancing
  • Ability to manipulate & interrogate 3D models in various file formats
  • Experience operating / programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Familiarity with HighQA software would be beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality assurance processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
