Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality / Metrology Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for CMM programming, programming other metrology equipment, assisting with QC methodology development during new product introduction, and ensuring the control and correct implementation of QC equipment throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality assessments and implement quality control processes
  • Authority over the gauge management system
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve the performance of the business relative to key quality metrics
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality assurance processes

Requirements

  • Experience in a Quality Engineering, Quality Control, or Quality Assurance role
  • Familiarity with Precision Engineering & CNC Machining methods
  • At ease with 2D technical drawings and the related international standards, including detailed geometric tolerancing
  • Ability to manipulate and interrogate 3D models in various file formats
  • Experience operating/programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Familiarity with HighQA software would be beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality assurance processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
