Your Role

This is a hands-on position within our Research and Development team, emphasizing nutrition and the formulation of both existing and new products. You will collaborate with various departments, including technical, procurement, customer service, and marketing. Daily tasks will involve data management, project oversight, and research activities. You will report to the R&D Lead, who will provide necessary support and training. This role includes travel to our manufacturing facility and occasional domestic and international travel for business purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the formulation of recipes for new and existing products.
  • Overseeing our nutritional testing process to ensure compliance with FEDIAF and company standards.
  • Conducting research on ingredients, pet nutrition, and food processing to support product development and initiatives.
  • Understanding and adhering to regulatory requirements for pet food, collaborating with our Quality and Regulatory team.
  • Providing nutritional and formulation assistance to other teams within the organization.
  • Contributing to research projects focused on nutrition.
Who We Are Looking For
  • A degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition.
  • Highly motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of pet nutrition and formulation.
  • Experience in the pet industry.
  • Strong analytical skills.
