About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Safety Case Developer to join our team at Retinue Solutions. As a Building Safety Case Developer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our high-rise buildings by developing comprehensive Safety Cases that meet the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and its implications on our high-rise buildings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to source building information and develop a body of safety-related data.
  • Produce high-quality Safety Cases that meet the required standard set by the Regulator, shielding our organization from criminal liability, financial penalty, and reputational risk.
  • Prepare Building Safety Reports using complex data and information, ensuring that all data/information within the case is accurate and that data governance and Golden Thread Principles are maintained.
  • Liaise with internal teams to retrieve required information/data for the case within strict deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory updates, secondary legislation, or outcomes of consultation that may impact the information/contents required for the safety case.
  • Manage risk and ensure that all safety cases are completed to the required standard.
Requirements
  • Experience in professional report writing and developing comprehensive safety cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and drawings in the built environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical experts and present complex data in an understandable and effective way.
  • Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and its implications on high-rise buildings.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
