Job Title: Divisional Engineering Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Divisional Engineering strategic improvement projects implementation and manage project planning, scheduling, risk, and resource management.
  • Coordinate projects from conception to completion, ensuring safety, compliance, quality assurance, and project goals are achieved in full, on time, and within budget.
  • Develop the team's skills and proficiencies while building an early asset management model as a standardized process.
  • Collaborate with local site teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of project goals.
  • Manage stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors, and sponsors, to establish project requirements, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure engineering projects and processes meet relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and acquire and accurately document approvals.
  • Lead, motivate, and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, providing mentorship and support, and performance feedback to team members while resolving challenges to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop project plans, define objectives, and set timelines, holding teams to account to landmarks.
  • Prioritize resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure project tasks are completed cost and time efficiently.
  • Manage project costs, prepare budget estimates, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Identify potential risks and develop solutions to minimize their impact on project timelines.
  • Implement quality processes to ensure project goals are achieved to required standards and specifications and customer expectations.
  • Prepare regular progress updates, project documentation, and presentations for management and partners, summarizing project status, highlighting key achievements, and identifying any issues or deviations from the project plan.
  • Find opportunities for process improvement and implement standard methodologies to improve project efficiency and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering with appropriate experience.
  • Previous experience in large and multifunctional Project Management Engineering experience.
  • Working internationally across numerous sites in different regions.
  • Familiarity with COMAH/DSEAR/ATEX and OSHA regulations.
  • Chemical manufacturing/FMCG experience.
  • PPI/Six Sigma/World Class Manufacturing experience.
  • Validation Protocols experience.
  • Experience working in a union environment and/or matrix organization.
