Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to join our Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD) in Loughborough. In this role, you will lead strategic improvement projects within the Divisional Engineering team, ensuring successful project execution while adhering to strict quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead strategic improvement initiatives within the Divisional Engineering team, driving operational efficiency and process optimization.
  • Manage all aspects of project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various departments to align project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement robust risk management strategies and cost control measures to mitigate potential challenges and optimize project outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancement and implementing best practices.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Project Management within an engineering environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards, particularly within the chemical manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on implementing efficient solutions.
