Learning Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our respite services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and associated physical disabilities.
Our respite services, located at Eden Lodge and Wickett Hern Road, offer a safe and supportive environment for individuals to receive short-term care and assessment. As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive person-centred care, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centred care and support to guests, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure that care and support plans are implemented effectively.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and supportive environment.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and associated physical disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Basic knowledge of safeguarding adults, health and safety, and data protection.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive environment.
