About the Role:

Creative Support is a non-profit provider of personalized care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions, and older people.

We are seeking an experienced practitioner to work with people with learning disabilities in South Tyneside. As a Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing practical and emotional support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and professionals to deliver a coordinated and consistent service that meets the needs of our service users.
  • Support and supervise staff, ensuring effective deployment of resources to meet the needs of the service.
  • Work flexibly on a rota to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holidays.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with people with learning disabilities is essential.
  • Managerial experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Possession of a clean driving license and a car is desirable.
