About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Nurse to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust. As an Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with cancer and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive nursing assessments and evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
  • Participate in regular mandatory training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as an Oncology Nurse within the last 2 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
