Construction Quality Assurance Manager

Protecnium is a global consulting organization focused on engineering and technical services. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for a construction project.

Project Overview: Paper Mill

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Position Duration: Approximately 8 months (with potential for extension). Typically, upon project completion, we strive to transition employees to other assignments for continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary representative for Quality Management on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with the welding documentation, customer quality standards, and final testing protocols.
  • Maintain communication with the Customer Quality Manager.
  • Proactively identify quality issues and implement corrective action plans to address concerns.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in comparable projects, particularly in construction involving stainless steel welding.
  • Expertise in welding quality, defect prevention, analysis, and action planning.
  • Familiarity with welding maps, logs, quality plans, and IPT documentation.
  • Proficiency in English is required; Spanish fluency is a plus.
  • A university degree is mandatory, preferably in Engineering.
