Role Summary:
As a vital member of our Corporate Communications team, you will engage in various communication activities, including social media management, media relations, and the creation of publications. Reporting directly to the Corporate Communications Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our public image and ensuring effective communication with our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and disseminate key messages across multiple platforms to effectively engage with the public.
  • Support impactful campaigns by developing social media content and creating materials that promote safety awareness.
  • Address media inquiries promptly, providing information related to incidents and coordinating interviews.
  • Proactively identify and promote newsworthy stories that showcase the positive contributions of Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
  • Represent the Corporate Communications team at various events, fostering strong relationships with partners and local media.
