About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Scheduling Specialist to join our dynamic team at Samworth Brothers Limited. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of materials to meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective materials scheduling strategies to meet production schedules and minimum stock levels.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Evaluate and improve processes to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to manage material delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide support to the Materials Planning Manager in their absence.
Requirements
  • Experience in materials scheduling or purchasing in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
