Our client is a prominent provider of avionics, engines, and systems tailored for aircraft manufacturers and airlines, encompassing military and space operations.


Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will oversee all facets of manufacturing engineering across various departments within the organization.

Work Schedule:
37 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Compensation - £24.27 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute strategies aimed at enhancing product and process efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and launch of new products in accordance with the Company’s Integrated Product Development System.
  • Facilitate the creation and delivery of prototypes for process or design validation, serving as qualification hardware.
  • Address and rectify any defect issues promptly.
  • Lead and coordinate manufacturing activities in collaboration with Product Engineers, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and manage site-level improvement initiatives to boost productivity, including machining program wiring and fixture design.
  • Enhance communication with customers and suppliers to elevate product quality and delivery standards.

Qualifications:
  • Technical authority on products and processes within designated areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in the general application of engineering principles, whether mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing.
  • Prior involvement in continuous improvement projects is advantageous.
  • Experience with Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
This role is contingent upon meeting the eligibility criteria for export control licenses and technical assistance agreements.

Mandatory Requirements:
Completion of Full BPSS Screening, including proof of legal right to work, criminal records check, and drug screening.
