Hours - 14 per week, Term Time only

Salary – £22,620-£23,679 pro rata

Location - Altrincham

The Trafford & Stockport College Group is seeking a skilled Dispensary Technician to join our Hair and Beauty team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of our department.

About the Role:

As a Dispensary Technician, you will be responsible for:

  1. Efficiently managing the department's laundry, including washing, drying, and pressing/ironing.
  2. Assisting in the preparation of rooms for classes as requested.
  3. Dispensing materials and items of laundry where appropriate.
  4. Responding to enquiries from students and teaching staff.
  5. Monitoring and controlling stock levels in the laundry.
  6. Assisting in the cleaning of materials, equipment, and work surfaces if required.
  7. To ensure equipment is well maintained, chemicals are dispensed in accordance with COSHH regulations, and to liaise closely with the Health & Safety Advisor.
  8. Support and comply with the College's risk management audit requirements.
  9. Undertaking any other reasonable duties that may be required as directed by the Head of Studies, Programme Leader, or Principal commensurate with grade.
