Role - Dispensary Technician

Hours - 14 per week, Term Time only

Salary – £22,620-£23,679 pro rata

Location - Altrincham

The Trafford & Stockport College Group is seeking a skilled Dispensary Technician to join our Hair and Beauty team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of our department.

About You:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about hair and beauty, with a strong desire to share their knowledge and skills with students. If you have previous experience in the industry and are enthusiastic about supporting students, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently manage the department's laundry, including washing, drying, and pressing/ironing.
  2. Assist in preparing rooms for classes as requested.
  3. Dispense materials and items of laundry as needed.
  4. Respond to student and teaching staff enquiries.
  5. Monitor and control stock levels in the laundry.
  6. Assist with cleaning materials, equipment, and work surfaces as required.
  7. Ensure equipment is well-maintained, chemicals are dispensed in accordance with COSHH regulations, and liaise closely with the Health & Safety Advisor.
  8. Support and comply with the College's risk management audit requirements.
  9. Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of Studies, Programme Leader, or Principal.
