Job Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with Severfield, the UK's largest specialist structural steelwork group, to fill the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in Severfield's Nuclear and Infrastructure division, working for a business that prides itself on quality and innovation, with unparalleled expertise in critical infrastructure projects.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on high-value and critical projects, building relationships with a range of high-profile clients in the infrastructure sector - JCT contracts.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with a team on infrastructure projects
  • Managing variations and changes with customers
  • Working as part of an experienced commercial team
  • Developing relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful and profitable outcomes

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will require:

  • Previous experience working as a Assistant QS
  • Construction industry experience
  • JCT Contracts experience
  • Experience of NEC
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence
