Exciting Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor Assistant

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be working with Severfield, the largest specialist structural steelwork Group in the UK, on the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team in the group's Nuclear and Infrastructure division, working for a business which prides itself on quality and innovation, with unrivalled expertise in critical infrastructure projects.

As a Quantity Surveyor Assistant, you will be working on high-value and critical projects, building relationships with a range of high-profile clients which service the infrastructure sectors – JCT contracts.

The Quantity Surveyor Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of a team on infrastructure projects
  • Managing variations and changes with customers
  • Working as part of an experienced commercial team
  • Developing relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful, profitable outcomes

The Quantity Surveyor Assistant will need:

  • Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor Assistant
  • Construction industry experience
  • JCT Contracts experience
  • Experience of NEC
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence
