Exciting Opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a talented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Brandon James Ltd in Manchester. As a prestigious Chartered Quantity Surveying Consultancy, we offer a unique opportunity to fast-track your career in a dynamic and growing industry.

About the Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading consultancy that operates across 21 offices nationwide, boasting a team of over 300 experienced professionals. As part of this high-performing team, you'll be exposed to a diverse range of exciting projects, from Office and Retail developments to Private Healthcare, Hotels & Leisure, Industrial, Student Accommodation, Education, and Social Housing schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor progress
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports and forecasts
  • Collaborate with senior professionals to develop and implement cost management strategies
Requirements
  • RICS-accredited degree qualification
  • Commitment to working towards the APC
  • Good pre and post-contract knowledge
  • 12+ months Quantity Surveying experience with a UK Cost Consultancy
  • Valid UK driving license (beneficial)
