Site Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team at VolkerStevin, a leading civil engineering business within the VolkerWessels UK Group. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, working closely with our site teams and management to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate site activities to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
- Collaborate with site teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective site control and quality management systems to ensure high-quality workmanship and documentation.
- Coordinate and manage subcontract packages, ensuring seamless integration with our site operations.
- Support the management of our supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Develop and maintain accurate construction methodology documentation, including RAMS and ITPs, to ensure compliance with company quality management systems and employer requirements.
- Produce and review as-built documentation from site, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Implement and manage safe systems of work and quality management, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.
- Coordinate and manage services, including Permit to Excavate, Permit to Load and Strike, and services coordination.
- Utilize excellent IT skills, including AUTOCAD and Microsoft suite, to support site operations and project delivery.
- Degree/HNC or equivalent in civil engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of previous civil engineering experience, with a strong understanding of site operations and management.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to challenge designs and resolve issues effectively.
- Full driving license and ability to work at heights.
- Appointed Person for Lifting Operations.
