Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team at Hardy Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in supervising and managing the day-to-day operations within our composting operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations within the composting operation, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Direct and control staff and contractors assigned to the site, ensuring that they are aware of their responsibilities and are working in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Operate plant and machinery, and carry out daily inspection checks as required, completing defect and damage reports and other associated paperwork.
- Carry out routine servicing and minor repairs, and assist fitters with other repairs, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
- Plan and organize maintenance across various plant and sites, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to plan and organize composting operations across multiple sites, ensuring that sufficient resources are available to maintain a safe and compliant operation.
- Provide a high level of customer service to external and internal customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the service provided.
- Ensure that all site records are maintained in accordance with company requirements, and that all regulatory requirements are met.
- Liaise with regulatory inspectors as required, ensuring that all necessary information is provided and that any issues are addressed promptly.
Requirements:
- Experience of plant operation and routine maintenance.
- Experience supervising teams.
Desirable:
- Experience of composting.
- Experience supervising teams across multiple locations.
