VanRath is recruiting a Site Manager to oversee an exciting project in Coleraine, Northern Ireland.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction project from start to finish, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and motivate site teams to ensure the project is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential risks.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the senior management team, including contracts manager and project director, to ensure the project is aligned with the company's overall strategy.
- Provide accurate, consistent, and professional records, reports, and general information.
- Manage and coordinate labour, including subcontractors and direct staff.
- Instrumental role in the negotiation of contracts with direct and subcontract staff.
- Liaise with engineers and understand site-level operations.
- Ability to work under one's own initiative and self-motivated hard worker.
- Strong team building skills and ability to motivate site teams.
- Have a track record of completing projects from start to finish.
- Analytical and decision-making skills.
- Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry.
- Compliant with relevant 3rd party H&S site management training.
